Hi, nice to meet you. Thanks for the link to the mousetrap example. It's really interesting and entertaining, but I don't view it as a substantial answer to my argument, mainly due to vagueness. You have composite structures popping up almost at each step, with no comment on the probabilities of the structures. For example the flap in step 4 -- of what is it composed? how is it attached to the wall? how flexible is it? do flaps occasionally pop up everywhere in the house? etc, etc. When one is seriously proposing an evolutionary pathway at the molecular level, detailed questions analogous to those become crucial.
